Review: August: Osage County is a stunning, powerful drama written by Tracy Letts - is rocked Broadway and won the Pulitzer Prize. And will rock movie theater near you. This film is not for everyone. A tiring, many people really despicable, and mighty depressing. But there is so terrific act, strong roles so that you will not want to miss it.It the Weston family history: Purple, drug addiction cancer patients (Meryl Streep); Beverley man, known poet (Sam Shepard); daughters Barbara (Julia Roberts), Karen (Juliette Lewis), and Ivy (Julianne Nicholson); Violet sister Minnie FAE Aiken (Margo Martindale), her husband Charles (Chris Cooper), and son, known as Little Charles (Benedict Cumberbatch). When Beverley commits suicide, family gather and wretched from scratch. Violet, Barbara and Minnie are male roles.In showiest roles, Sam Shepard, that his role is small, elegant and easy, and Chris Cooper is done to Showdown with Minnie, is galvanizing.
